9 Month Doctor Appointment

Kennedy had her 9 month appointment this morning. I knew that she probably would not have gained a lot of weight since she has been sick off and on the last three weeks. She weighed in at 15 lbs. 14 oz. She was 15 lbs. even @ her 6 month check up. So I was right, not much weight gain and 5th percentile in weight. She has thrush and a slight ear infection, which Dr. Nail said was not a true infection but had fluid and mucus still, no redness or infection. She got anti-fungal for the thrush and a different antibiotic for her ears. She was 28.3'' tall, 75-90% in height.

Still sick...

Today she woke up again with a 102.8 fever. I stayed home and took her back to the doctor. She has been running fever since Saturday so we wanted to make sure she didn't have an ear infection. Sure enough, no ear infection and they believe it is still the virus. They went ahead and pricked her finger to check her white blood count, which was normal. She was such a good girl and I think she liked the attention. By these pictures you wouldn't even know she is sick. She loved the Dora bandaid that they put over her finger prick.

6 month doctor check up

Today I got to go into work a little late and take Kennedy to her 6 month doctor appointment. Daddy had to work so just us girls went. These top pictures were after I was feeding her in the morning. Then there are a few from the doctor. :) She did great! She weighs 15 lbs. exactly (25-50%), Height 26.3 in. (75-90%) and head 16.4 in. (25-50%).

Doctor Appointment

Kennedy had her 4 month appointment today. Daddy was at work (summer school) so I just took her. Much easier getting her around and getting used to being out and about with her now. Her doctor appointment was at 8:50. We had to leave the house around 8:30 and she was still sleeping at 8:20, so I had to wake her. Poor thing! :) She did really good after her shots and barely cried. I was sooo proud of her. Such a sweet baby!!!!

Here are her current 4 month stats:

Weight: 12 lb. 14 oz. 25-50%

Height: 25 1/2" 90-95%

Head: 15.8" 25-50%

Hmm... not sure where she gets the height!!! :o)

First week home

Okay, so I realize I totally slacked on this whole blog thing so I've decided to give it a shot.
I'm going to post a few to get caught up to date and then hopefully I'll be good about keeping up with this!
Wednesday, March 17th (St. Patty's Day) was Kennedy's first day home from the hospital. She did great, of course all she pretty much did was sleep and eat. WE didn't really know what was to come! We were pretty excited and she was a very relaxed and sweet baby. She starting sleeping great from the time she got home. She was doing 3-4 hour stretches in the middle of the night for the first week already. Yay, go Kennedy!

On Sunday, it snowed!! Crazy snow in March.
