Kennedy loves her Daddy time! While I was teaching Spin this morning she got to watch cartoons in bed with Daddy. He then took her to the pool with Jon and Katie. What a fun way to start out her Saturday morning! :)

No more swaddle! :)
Last night we put Kennedy down without her swaddle. We only had her in her jammies. The past couple of nights we were swaddling her with one arm out and she was still rolling over in the night (still sleeping through though). I wasn't sure exactly what to do so the first night we put her down, she rolled right over and fussed a bit. Ryan went and rolled her back on her back but she rolled over again. We let her fuss a little for about 5 minutes and she fell asleep on her belly. Our pediatrician told us that if she was old enough to roll over it was okay to leave her on her belly at night to sleep. I knew this was the way to go as we didn't want to play the roll her back over game night after night. So anyways, last night he did great and actually rolled right over after we put her in for the night. She slept on her belly all night and loved it! :) Sooo cute! I know this video picture is kind of scary but thought it was still cute. She played in her bumbo today with her monkey. We also went to the pool. She got to wear her hand me down flip flops.

San Antonio Vacation
San Antonio! Yay! It was vacation time.... where I grew up. My parents live in Helotes and my middle sister Erin and her husband Chris and two kids live in San Antonio only 7 miles from my parents. Keegan who is 2 1/2 and Brynnleigh who is 8 months old. Last year for the 4th we went down to San Antonio with Jon, Carrie, and Katie(our good friends). This year we decided to make it tradition and do it again! :) This time we had little Miss Kennedy in tow. Our good friends Scott and Brandi let us borrow their big Expedition so we could all 6 ride together. It was a blast! Katie is exactly 2 years older than Kennedy. Yep, that's right, friendship babies.. hehe both born on the 15th of March! We had a wonderful time with my family and even got to get our Mexican fix while we were down there. Ryan, Jon, Carrie, and myself ran the 4 mile race on the 4th of July morning while Nana Babbs watched Katie and Kennedy. We had a huge BBQ over at my sisters with tons of food! That was a lot of fun. Kennedy also got to go to the pool again! We even made it downtown to visit The Alamo!! Great times!

Me, Ryan, Carrie, and Jon at the 4th of July: 4 Mile Race
Yes, Ryan thought it would be funny to shave his goatee and leave only his mustache. I think he was the only one laughing! :)

California Vacation: Oakhurst and Yosemite Mtn. Sugar Pine Railroad
Saturday we spent the day out by the pool at our hotel. Ryan's parents got a room and on the hotel property there was this super cute 3 bedroom house that all the "kids" stayed in. It was so awesome because it was a great place for us to all hang out. That night we went to Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad. It was so much fun. They served us a delicious dinner and dessert and then we go to ride a few miles on the railroad to a campfire and sing songs then back on the railroad to the starting point. Kennedy's eyes go so BIG when the train tooted it's horn. She loved it. When we were going up a hill the train had to work so hard that the steam was blowing stuff off the trees onto all of us. It was quite humorous but we had to cover Kennedy up so she wouldn't get stuff in her eyes. What a FUN adventure for her.
Hanging out at the pool
With her other cousin Caden: This is Ryan's brother (Mike's son)
Mike's wife Julie and daughter Kaitlyn weren't able to make it due to Kaitlyn's swim competition: Caden LOVED Kennedy! It was real cute!
Oops... we were looking at the wrong camera: Here we are on the train
She's like uhhhhh what are we doing? hehe

California Vacation: Oakhurst and Mariposa
Friday morning we left Chico and headed to Oakhurst. It's about an hour outside of Yosemite and about 30 minutes from Mariposa where the reunion took place. It was a long trek, about five hours without stopping but of course with Kennedy it took much longer! Us three rode with Ryan's parents, Rod and Sandy. It was a lot of fun with Kennedy. She was soooooo good and only cried one time because she was getting hungry. Poor thing... I felt real bad for her. I rarely can get her to take her pacifier but for some reason this trip she was loving it in her car seat. Soothed her and helped her to sleep on the long ride.

We stopped at Matt and Kimberly's before leaving so we could follow each other. We had a blow out and after changing Ryan decided to put her in Kayleigh's chair. So cute! :) We'll have to get her one of these soon.

Out during the car ride

Hi Momma... you're really gonna make me sit in this thing all day!?
With Daddy and Auntie Kelli
We arrived in Mariposa Friday night and had an AMAZING dinner at Roger, Becky, and Kathy's house. It was delicious! Becky made this scrumptious hot fudge sauce! I ended up getting the recipe! :) THANKS!
They had name tags for everyone and Ryan and I's said (Kennedy's Mommy or Daddy) underneath our name....so sweet!
Their backyard was beautiful and they had a great pool. Daring Daddy took her in the water. Let's just say it was brrrr..... COLD!!! She didn't even seem to mind. Poor thing was super cold when she got out but she seemed to think it was worth it.

Pool Time
We took Kennedy to the pool today for the first time! It was veryyyy HOT but she did great and the water cooled her off. We stopped on the way there and Daddy ran into Walgreens and picked out a pair of Tinker Bell sunglasses... sooo cute! She really enjoyed the water and loved being outside. Her hat and bikini are just adorable. Ryan's parents got them for her! Sooo cute, thank you! :)
Getting ready to head for the water
I'm not sure about this yet
Hey this isn't bad
Daddy noticed the boys with water guns getting close
After water was splashed on her, hehe
That's what you can expect from being at a pool :)
She was like, hey where did those boys that splashed me go?
This is fun
Relaxing afterwards

This was on our walk last night, she was exhausted!:)
